Elcie Bell Grissom 
Elcie Bell was born on March 1st, 1902 in Van Buren Co, TN. Elcie Bell's father was James Phillip Grissom and her mother was Louisa Caroline Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Toliver, William Herod, Haveron Bryan, Abijah E. 'Doc', Phillip Lee, Lela Mae, Virginia Ann 'Jennie', Mary Belle and Mary Lodema. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 on August 18th, 1985 in Van Buren Co, TN. She was buried in Long Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
