John Gresley 
John was born in 1475 in Colton, Staffordshire, England.1 John's father was Thomas Gresley and his mother was Anne Ferrers. His paternal grandparents were John Gresley and Anne Stanley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Robert, James, George, Elizabeth and Ellen. He was the third youngest of the seven children.1 -
