James Norton Grant 
James Norton was born on September 30th, 1919 in Rockingham Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1920.1 James Norton's father was Ernest Lenford Grant and his mother was Susie Hiatt. His paternal grandparents were Ulysses Simmons Grant and Lucinda Bullen. He had a brother and three sisters, named Raymond Levey, Maud Ellen, Beatrice and Catherine. He died at the age of 61 in April 1981 in Clyde, Haywood Co, NC.General Notes
