Alfred Roberts Grant

Alfred Roberts was born on December 7th, 1823 in Rockingham Co, NC.¹ Alfred Roberts' father was Archibald Grant and his mother was Lydia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Vincent Roberts and Elizabeth Reed. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Milton Powell, James Diskin, Eliza Reed, Jemina Vincent, Mary Rebecca, Baby, Frances Ann and Martha Leah. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 28 on July 5th, 1852 in Staunton, Staunton City, VA.¹
