Elias Akin was born on September 9th, 1823 in Henry Co, Tennessee, USA. Elias Akin's father was Stephen Goldsby and his mother was Deborah Akin. His maternal grandparents were James Akin and Mary Murphy. He had two brothers and four sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named C B, O Cornelius, Cynthia Ann, Nancy, Elizabeth, Margret Ann, A H and J M. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 on November 23rd, 1904 in Tennessee, USA.General Notes
