Ellen S. Goforth 
Ellen S. was born on August 20th, 1857 in Cleveland Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1910. Ellen S.'s father was George Goforth and her mother was Nancy Jane Houser. Her maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John Franklin, Henry Wright, Robert B. 'Rainer', James Marion, Preston S., Amanda Harriet Elizabeth and Nancy Jane. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on June 3rd, 1938 in Plumtree, Avery Co, NC. She was buried on June 5th, 1938 in Yellow Mountain Cemetery, Plumtree, Avery Co, NC.General Notes
