Charles Edward Goforth , Sr. 
Charles Edward was born on June 15th, 1915 in Rutherford Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Charles Edward's father was George Edward Goforth and his mother was Maggie Elizabeth Pannell. His paternal grandparents were Henry Wright Goforth and Frances 'Fannie' C. Brinkley. He had five brothers and a sister, named John William, George Martin, Samuel Pannell, Joseph Alexander, Coleman Wright and Zella Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 on December 14th, 1993 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. He was buried in Beulah Methodist Cemetery, Waco, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
