Jael Godolphin

Jael was born in 1642 in Godolphin, Cornwall, England. Jael's father was Sir Francis Godolphin and her mother was Dorothy Berkeley. Her maternal grandfather was Sir Henry Berkeley. She had four brothers and a sister, named Sir William, Francis, Sidney, Henry and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the six children.
