Osbern Giffard (Osbern de Arches, Osberne de Arques) 
Osbern was born in 1059 in Arques-la-Bataille, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, France.1 Osbern's father was William d'Arques and his mother was Beatrice de Bolebec. His paternal grandparents were Godfroi d' Arques and Amelie de Rouen; his maternal grandparents were Vicomte d'Arques Geoffrey De Bolbec and Beatrice. He had two sisters named Emma and Maud. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-sisters named Maud and Emma. He died at the age of 57 in 1116 in Thorpe Arche, Yorkshire, England.1 -
