Katherine Giffard (Catherine Gifford) 
Katherine was born in 1268 in Brimsfield, Gloucestershire, England.1 Katherine's father was John Giffard and her mother was Maud De Clifford. Her paternal grandparents were Elias IV Giffard and Alicia Maltravers; her maternal grandparents were Walter de Clifford III and Margred Verch Llwelyn. She had a brother and two sisters, named Le Boef, Maud and Eleanor. She was the oldest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nicholas and Margaret. She died at the age of 54 in 1322.2 -
