Mary Elmira was born in 1853 in Georgia. Mary Elmira's father was Henry Harvey GLAZE and his mother was Mary Ann HAWES. His paternal grandparents were David GLAZE and Susannah NORMAN. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named George Warren, Payton Haws, William Lafayette, John Randolph, Henry Norman, David Ellington, Thomas Mosley, Janie and Carolyn Elizabeth.
