Thomas Crittenden was born on September 8th, 1839 in Barren Co, Kentucky, USA.1 Thomas Crittenden's father was Austin Foster and his mother was Lucinda Boyd. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Foster and Susanna Foster. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John William, Joseph Benjamin, George Henry, Martha Ann, Penecia and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 on October 21st, 1904 in Glasgow, Barren Co, Kentucky, USA. He was buried in October 1904 in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery Barren Kentucky.-
