Stacey Samuel was born on July 26th, 1892 in Davie.1 Stacey Samuel's father was Richard Monroe Foster and his mother was Ella Sophia Smith. His paternal grandparents were Henry Foster and Margaret Melvina Cranfil. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Ollie Floyd, Jesse Raymond, Albert A, Leon Lezelle, Charlotte Belle and Eva M. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 57 on December 19th, 1949 in Lexington, Davidson, North Carolina,.2 -
