Ruth Garnette was born on November 22nd, 1924 in Davie, North Carolina.1 Ruth Garnette's father was William Everette Foster and her mother was Annie Dora Foster. Her maternal grandparents were Noah Burton Foster and Iva Addie Barneycastle. She had three brothers named Barney Odell, William E and Glenn Charles. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 70 on April 23rd, 1995 in Osceola, Florida.-
