Ruby Tucker was born on September 5th, 1916 in Davie, North Carolina.¹ Ruby Tucker's father was Robert Lee Foster and her mother was Mozelle Tucker. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel T Foster and Sarah Jennifer Allen. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Lawrence Edward, Johnny Franklin, Opal, Laura L, Magdalene, Hallie and Doris Thelma. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 2 on June 8th, 1919 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina.²
