Robert Lee was born on June 15th, 1910 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina.1 Robert Lee's father was James Robert Foster and his mother was Carrie Elizabeth Bassett. His paternal grandparents were Henry Foster and Mary Elizabeth Allen. He had a brother and three sisters, named John Frank, Mary, Minnie Mae and Alice. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 73 on August 2nd, 1983 in Mocksville, Davie, North Carolina.2 -
