Robert was born in 1788 in Louisa, Louisa, Virginia, United States. Robert's father was John Foster and his mother was Mary " Molly " HARRIS Harris. His paternal grandparents were Robert Foster and Mary Armstrong. He had a brother and two sisters, named Lancelot, Jane and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named MEREDITH, John and Reuben F. He died at the age of 82 in 1870 in Louisa, Louisa, Virginia, United States.-
