Emma Florence was born on April 5th, 1880 in Davie County, NC.1 Emma Florence's father was Samuel T Foster and her mother was Sarah Jennifer Allen. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Hillery Foster and Ann Etchieson. She had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel Roy, Ollie Wilson, Robert Lee, John Frank, Allen F. and Annie. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 28 in 1908.2 -
