Earnie Alford was born on March 17th, 1910 in Ozark Co., MO.1 Earnie Alford's father was John Humble Foster and his mother was Sarah Jane Mahan. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Virden Foster and Sally Ann "Sally " Sanders. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James Everett, Clarence Allen, William "Frank", Clifford Lee, Nova Jane, Nora Ann, Neva Ida, Nina May and Nella J. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 34 on August 17th, 1944 in Wagoner County, Coweta OK. He was buried in August 1944 in Vernon Cemetery, Wagoner County, Coweta OK.-
