Charles Penry Foster 
Charles Penry was born on February 5th, 1914 in Rowan, Davie, North Carolina.1 Charles Penry's father was William Anderson Foster and his mother was Lillie K McCullough. His paternal grandparents were Brainard Taylor Foster and Elizabeth Ann Frye. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James W, Paul Anderson "Pee Wee", Myrtle Ethel, Velma Lucille and Margret. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 61 on June 12th, 1975 in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina.-
