Elva L Finley 
Elva L was born in January 1898. Elva L's father was James Finley and her mother was Minerva Scruggs. Her maternal grandparents were James K Polk Scruggs and Mary Frances Pinkerton. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin F, James C, Alfred C, Thomas E, Robert J, Carrie L and Lota. She was the third youngest of the eight children.-
