Thomas Ellis

Thomas was born in 1714 in Amelia County, Virginia.¹ Thomas' father was John Ellis II and his mother was Sarah Austin. His paternal grandparents were John Ellis I and Susannah Royall; his maternal grandparents were Richard Austin and <Unknown>. He had a brother and four sisters, named Austin, Jenny, Betty, Mary and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the six children.
