Merton Elkin 
Merton was born on October 26th, 1871 in Kentucky. Merton's father was William A. Elkin and her mother was Susan E. Etherton. Her paternal grandparents were William Melton Elkin and Lucyann Perlina Davis. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Noah L., Thomas M. and Eva D.. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 27 on June 6th, 1899 in LaRue Co.,Kentucky.-
