William Elder 
William was born in 1846 in Grayson Co, KY and his baptism took place in Census 1850. William's father was William Elder and his mother was Frances Sirles. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Sirles and Martha Roberts. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Isaac P., Henry, Squire, Patsy J. and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
