Ellen Egerton

Ellen was born in 1422 in Betley, Staffordshire, England.¹ Ellen's father was Ralph Egerton and her mother was Elizabeth Mainwaring. Her paternal grandparents were William Egerton and Helen Hawkestone. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Hugh, Ralph, Urian, Richard, Margaret and Anna. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
