Harmon A was born in 1816. Harmon A's father was Charles Smith EASTIN and his mother was Sarah Sallie SWEARINGEN. His paternal grandparents were Philip Lt. EASTIN and Sarahanna Hite SMITH. He had four brothers and seven sisters, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named Vanison Swearingen, John Martin, Harmon S, Infant, Susanna, Mary Alice, Eliza, Mahalia, Margaret, Matilda M, Harriet A, Infant, Infant and Infant. He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children.-
