Elma was born on August 28th, 1890 in Pulaski, Giles Co., TN.. Elma's father was James Edward ERVIN and her mother was Turah (Turah). Her maternal grandparents were Hezekiah M. JONES and Sarah Elizabeth PAISLEY. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Minnie E. and Grace Anna May. She was the oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Kelsie, Lee Roy, Ada M. and Geneva. She died at the age of 76 on March 18th, 1967 in Ethridge, TN.. She was buried on March 20th, 1967 in John Lay Cem., Ethridge, TN..-
