Isaiah Clifton Dye 
Isaiah Clifton was born on September 9th, 1840 in Casey County, Kentucky. Isaiah Clifton's father was John Henry Dye and his mother was Elizabeth "Betsey" Watson. His paternal grandparents were William Shadrick Dye and Sarah "Sally" Gordon. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Harrison, Shadrick, Albin Thomas, Bartherman, Cyrus Green, Nancy, Rachel Serelda Emerline and Julia A. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 68 on July 9th, 1909 in Casey, Kentucky.-
