Emperor of Byzantium Andronicus Dukas 
Andronicus was born in 1036 in Constantinople, Byzantine Empire.1 Andronicus' father was Ioannis Dukas and his mother was Eirene Pegonitissa. His paternal grandparents were Andronikos Dukas and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Niketas Pegonitissa and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 41 on October 14th, 1077.1
