Polly Dowell 
Polly was born in 1809 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Polly's father was Elijah Dowell and her mother was Jemima Board. Her paternal grandparents were George Dowell and Margaret Ferguson. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Nehemiah, George, James, John, Elijah, Joel, Harrison, Dandridge, Elizabeth, Nancy and Jincey. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 56 in 1865 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.2 -
