Robert De Gresley 
Robert was born in 1496 in Colton, Staffordshire, England. Robert's father was Thomas De Gresley and his mother was Anne De Ferrers. His maternal grandparents were Thomas II de Ferrers and Anne Hastings. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, John, George, James, Elizabeth and Ellen. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
