Robert Lee DUDLEY 
Robert Lee was born on October 12th, 1898 in Lamar Co. TX. Robert Lee's father was Rufus DUDLEY and his mother was Ella TALLEY. His paternal grandparents were Jesse B. DUDLEY and Ellen CLEMENT. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Audie, Claudie, Joe Estell, Virgie E. and Jeannie May. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on November 17th, 1980 in Lamar Co. From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery, Lamar Co. TX: "Robert Lee Dudley, son of Rufus and Ella Talley Dudley, born in Lamar Co. TX, died in Paris, Lamar Co. TX. Steele-Thomas Funeral Home had charge of the service.
From "The Lamar County ECHO, November 20, 1980: "Robert Lee Dudley, 82, of 1818 Margaret, died Nov. 17 in the local hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Steel and Thomas Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Gardens.
Mr. Dudley was born in Lamar County on Oct. 12,1898, son of Rufus Dudley and Ella Talley Dudley. He married Carmen Woodson in Pattonville on Aug. 21, 1920. Mr.Dudley was a retired employee of the City Service Oil Co. in Ponca City, Okla. He was a member of the Calvary MethodistChurch.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mark Hackney of Durango; three brothers, Claudie Dudley of Deport, Audie Dudley of Clardy, and jim Dudley of Gainesville, two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Hoover and Mrs. Jennie Woodson, both of Pattonville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren."
