Henry was born in 1424 in Owesley, Yorkshire, England. Henry's father was Lord John DE GREYSTOKE and his mother was Lady Elizabeth DE FERRERS. His maternal grandparents were Robert DE FERRERS Baron Of Chartley and Joan DE BEAUFORT. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Ralph De Warrene, Thomas, Richard, John, William, Anna, Eleanor, Catherine, Matilda and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.-
