William Crane

William was born in 1774.¹ William's father was John T. Crane and his mother was Fannie Pond. His paternal grandparents were James Crane and Susannah York. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Glover, John, James, David, Thomas, Barbary, Nathaniel, Frankie, Elizabeth, Isabella, Nancy and Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.
