Elizabeth Cox 
Elizabeth was born in 1650.1 Elizabeth's father was Thomas Cox and her mother was <Unknown>. She was an only child. She died at the age of 69 in October 1719 in "The Defense", Calvert Co., Maryland.2 General Notes
The Defence plantation (65 acres) and dwelling-house was left to Elizabeths' granddaughter , Mary Marshall, dau. of Thomas Sr., by Samuel Clewly, Elizabeth's second husband. Property had come to him by marrying Wm. Marshall's widow, Elizabeth.. (Maryland Genealogical Society papers, Hall of Records, Anaapolis)
