Philip Courtenay 
Philip was born about 1432 in Powderham, St Thomas, Devon, England. Philip's father was Philip Courtenay and his mother was Elizabeth Hungerford. His paternal grandparents were John Courtenay and Joan Courtenay. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the three children.
