His maternal grandparents were William Dennis "Denny" Foster and Margaret Ann Veach. He had four sisters named Margaret, Hazel E, Dorothy M and Helen M. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 86 on May 21st, 2007 in Hampton, Hampton City, Virginia, United States of America.-
