Walter Comyn 
Walter was born in 1122 in Altyre House, Moray, Scotland.1 Walter's father was William Comyn and his mother was Maud Basset. His paternal grandparents were John Comyn and Matilda Giffard; his maternal grandparents were Thurston Basset and Thurstine. He had two brothers named Richard and William. He was the youngest of the three children.-
