Posthuma Fortunia Evelyn was born on September 9th, 1835.1 Posthuma Fortunia Evelyn's father was John Ashby Colclough and her mother was Eliza McDonald. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Colclough Col. and Mrs. McCanley. She had a brother and four sisters, named William Alexander, Musidora, Gertrude, Lenora Ida and Augusta. She had four half-brothers named Benjamin, John Ashby II, James Henry and George Washington. She died at the age of 21 on July 30th, 1857.1 General Notes
