Eleanor Cobham 
Eleanor was born about 1410 in Sterborough Castle, Lingfield, Kent, England. Eleanor's father was Reginald 3Rd Baron Cobham and her mother was Eleanor Colepeper. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Colepeper and Eleanor Greene. She had a brother and a sister, named Reginald and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the three children. She died in 1454 in Peel Castle, Isle Of MAN, England (As A Prisoner Accused Of Witchcraft).1 General Notes
He [Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester] m. 2ndly, in 1428, Eleanor, daughter of Sir Reynold Cobham, by his 1st wife, Eleanor, daughter of Sir Thomas Colepepper. She, for whom robes of the Garter were provided in 1432, and later, was tried, Oct 1441, for witchcraft and sorcery, and indicted for treason as aiming at the King's life. She was condemned and put to public penance in London, and sentenced to perpetual imprisonment. She d. a prisoner in 1454, in Peel Castle, Isle of Man. Humphrey dsp. legit probably from natural causes, 23 Feb 1446/7, aged 56, though being found dead while under arrest, his end excited popular suspicion. His body was taken to the Friars Minor at Babwell, and thence by stages byway of Newmarket and Ware to St. Albans Abbey, of which he had been a benefactor and confrater, and buried 4 Mar 1446/7 in a tomb which he had prepared there.
