M. B. Clayton 
M. B. was born in October 1883 in Person Co, NC. M. B.'s father was Williamthorp Clayton and his mother was Susan Margaret Yarbrough. His maternal grandparents were Thomas 'Tom' Yarbrough and Sarah Ann Rhew. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Thomas, S. M., Reuben, John Monroe, R. F. and J. M. He was the oldest of the seven children.General Notes
