Paralee Pilina 'Pope' was born on March 18th, 1860 in Henderson Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1880. Paralee Pilina 'Pope''s father was Thomas C. Cary and her mother was Mary C. 'Polly' Harris. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Cary and Elizabeth Roberts. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Felix G. 'Pope', William Alexander 'Pope', James H., Joseph W., Samuel T., Nancy J. 'Pope' and Dicy E. 'Pope'. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Alvin and Frances Elizabeth. She died at the age of 83 on June 23rd, 1943 in Henderson Co, IL. She was buried on June 24th, 1943 in Farmsville Cemetery, Carroll Co, TN.General Notes
