William Anscell Carter 
William was born on March 5th, 1602 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.1 William's father was William Carter Jr. and his mother was Mary Anscell. His paternal grandparents were William Carter Sr. and Elizabeth Glover Cranfield; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Anscell and Elizabeth Wheatley. He had seven brothers and nine sisters, named Thomas, Nicholas, William, Oliver, William, Robert, John, Anne, Winifred, Mary, Amye, Elizabeth, Temperence, Anne, Ursula and Alice. He was the youngest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 42 on September 5th, 1644 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England.1 -
