NOTE: Census transcriber read name as Clemens, but the census form clearly states Clemons. I believe that they were all living in the same household as they always did until 1935 when Mary F. died.

John was born with a defective heart. He was what was called a "blue baby". He was never able to attend much school. When my sister Norma & I were young he would often be our babysitter and was capable of giving a spanking or a kiss when either were needed.
John never married.
Died of pneumonia and a weakened heart.
Died on Friday & was buried on Tuesday.
Services: 5/13/1941 2:30 p.m. Brouhard's Funeral Home, Zearing, IA., Rev. R.E.Kerney, Zearing Christian Church. Burial 4 p.m.
