Job CLEMENTS 
Job was born about 1717 in Dover, New Hampshire.1 Job's father was James CLEMENTS and his mother was Sarah WALLINGFORD. His maternal grandparents were John Wallingford and Mary TUTTLE. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Job, John, Abner, Abigail, Sarah, Miriam and Shuah. He died before December 1810 in Dover, New Hampshire.1 General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: From Wallingfords of New England: Job began his life in thepart of Dover which became Somersworth in 1754, and lived there until about 1772 when he removed to Rochester. He is listed in the 1790 census of both Rochester and Somersworth, perhaps because his farm straddled the border. In that census he is listed as living with two females. He was listed in Somersworth in 1800 with a male and female above 45 years and a female aged 26-45. At some point during the next ten years he moved back to Dover. He enlisted in Capt. John Tasker's Co., 31 July 1755, for the Expedition against Crown Point. Much more is written about him in the Clements genealogy.
