George Franklin's father was George Wesley Burton and his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His paternal grandparents were John A. Burton and Malinda Roberts. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Lloyd, Roy, L. W., Myrtle, Lethia, Frances and Katherine.General Notes
