Clayton Buchanan 
Clayton was born in May 1881 in NC. Clayton's father was John Calvin Buchanan and his mother was Amanda Harriet Elizabeth Goforth. His maternal grandparents were George Goforth and Nancy Jane Houser. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George P., Joseph S., Nora, Ada A., Lila M. and Dolly D.. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.General Notes
