James Bryant 
James was born on January 22nd, 1843 in Bedford, Lawrence County, Indiana. James' father was Robert Robertson Bryant and his mother was Mary Matilda Hendricks. His paternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry H., Solomon Robert and Edith L.. He was the oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Eversole, David The King, Charles Edward, Frederick Robertson, Benjamin Crary and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 43 on December 15th, 1886 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Died of consumption.. He was buried in Lakewood Cemetery.General Notes
