Martha was born in 1659.1   Martha's father was Hugh Brent and her mother was Mary Acherson.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Brent and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were William Acherson and <Unknown>. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh, Joane and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the four children.
