Verney Bourchier

Verney was born in 1542 in Baunton, Devonshire, England. Verney's father was John Bourchier and his mother was Eleanor Manners. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Bourchier and Cecily d'Aubigny. He had five brothers and six sisters, named George, John, Fulke, Henry, James, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Bridget, Margaret, Susanna and Mary. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.
